(21) 5/30/91. Konnarock Crew with Gordon Burgess and perhaps Randy Sample, Mike Dawson, building puncheons near the railroad tracks. (22) Cooking on the grill at the Forest Service Work Camp.

(23) A group including Danny Booker and Vaughn Thomas relax at the Forest Service Work Camp. (24) The week of June 6-10, PATH and the Konnarock Crew worked on Chestnut Ridge cutting brush.

(25)At Chestnut Knob with Konnarock. This hiker passed through. Gordon remembered him as going under the trail name of "Gutless", because a good amount of his insides had been removed due to cancer. A real man in my books, I hope he was able to complete his hike. The man leaning on the shelter in the background was a local TV personality who was up at the Knob for a story. (26) This may have been another hiker who was walking with Gutless.

(27) Konnarock Crew member clearing brush on Chestnut Knob the week of June 6th. (28) Konnarock Crew camping at Arten Repass' barn the third week we had the crew, July 4-8. Notice Gordon with his arm around one woman's knee while another draps her arm over his shoulders. Typical Burgess behavior at these Konnarock affairs. Ken Rose and Steve Williams are also in this picture.

(29) No surprise at the blatant display of affection that the young lady is lavishing on Gordon. Camped out at Arten's barn in July. (30) Congenial group at Arten's barn, third week of Konnarock, July 4-8. Steve Williams, Danny Booker and one of Danny's daughters represent PATH. The Konnarock Crew and 7 PATH members worked on the Rich Valley relocation that week.

(33) Group picture of Konnarock Crew (plus Steve Williams), Rich Valley. (34) Passing the Repass house on the way to the barn.

(35) Gordon and another PATH member chatting with Arten and Jonan Repass. (36) Group picture of Konnarock Crew and PATH at Arten's barn. Ken Rose, Steve Williams, Gordon Burgess. Front and center, Sherman Bamford, the ATC Rep.

(37) Weedeating along the newly-puncheoned trail along the North Fork of the Holstein River behind the Repass farm. (38) View southward of the climb up Walker Mountain. The trail ran through the tree hedge to the left of the big hayfield.

(39) Unloading railroad ties to use in building puncheons along the North Fork of the Holstein. The days when we could get away with using creosoted ties for puncheons are long gone. (40) Gordon and Ken set a tie.
